Timothy "Tim" Edward McDonald - Obituary

imothy Edward “Tim” McDonald, Sr., age 64 and a longtime resident of Harwood, died on December 6, 2024. Born in Annapolis on May 11, 1960 to the late Ramon Ernest McDonald, Sr. and Frances Deane McDonald, he was a master plumber and very active member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Lothian. In addition to his love of his church, he enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandkids. Tim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lori Phillips McDonald; his children, Timothy McDonald, Jr. of Cary, NC, Sara Miller of Harwood, and Kristin Roby of Harwood; his grandchildren, Brooks Miller, Meredith Miller, and Veda Rose Roby; and his siblings, Rev. Ramon McDonald of Harwood and Deana Deans of Davidsonville. Friends are invited to visit with family from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. His Life Celebration will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 13, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 122 Bayard Road, Lothian, MD 20711.
